Stevens Wood Library and Archive

The archive is available for on-site research by prior appointment to both Society Members and the general public. A member of staff is always on hand to aid with research.  In addition, research can be conducted by staff.


Fee Schedule

  • Members receive two free hours per visit. A fee of $10/hour applies for subsequent time.

  • Non-Members rate is $20 for the first two hours, $15 for each following hour.

  • Business rate is $25 per hour.

  • Research by staff for $25 per hour, results cannot be guaranteed, but a preliminary free search would indicate if enough material was present to warrant the research.

  • Fees for photocopies and digital images apply; inquire with staff for rates.


Library Rules

  • Laptops are allowed and wifi is available.

  • We request that personal bags are placed away from the worktable

  • We request that only pencils are used.

  • Food and drink are strictly prohibited.

In your request, please include what questions you would like to try to answer or what materials you would like to look at. Please provide as much information as you can (full names, birth/ death information, street addresses, etc.) in order for us to connect you to the right resources and have a successful research visit.
