Along the way Andy describes the Native American presence and the early settlers with a focus on two families that lived in what is now H.P. Andy explains the formation of H.P. as a State Forest and the Depression area CCC regarding their work to improve H.P.
Andy's goal in this talk will be to make the history of Harold Parker State Forest as interesting and entertaining as it truly is.
